All at the Old Brewery Mission were so deeply saddened to learn that Madame Andrée Beaulieu died suddenly at home recently.

Andrée devoted endless volunteer hours and great vigour and energy to the cause of homelessness in Montreal with particular attention paid to the plight of homeless women. Following the death of her husband, Mr. Roger Beaulieu, an OBM Board director in whose honour the Maison Roger Beaulieu is named, Andrée took up his seat at the Board and served for many years. A dedicated Board director,  Andrée was a very active lead member of the Women's Services Advisory Committee.

No one who met Andrée or worked alongside her could have avoided being impressed and struck by her natural elegance, her dignity, her sharp intellect or her joy for life. Andrée will be terribly missed by all and our deepest and most heartfelt condolences go to her family.
