Emergency Services

Homeless shelters have historically

been based on a charity model aimed

at helping those  in a temporary crisis.

The Old Brewery Mission continues to respond to the basic needs of the homeless by

providing them a safe place to sleep, nourishing meals and clothing.

A timely response coupled with a warm and respectful welcome ensures that all

immediate needs are met. Those requiring temporary housing may present themselves

seven days a week at the Webster Pavilion (for men) and the Patricia Mackenzie

Pavilion (for women).

The Webster Pavilion is the largest resource for homeless men in Quebec providing

essential services to over 300 clients nightly.

The Patricia Mackenzie Pavilion, the most important resource for homeless women in

Canada, welcomes up to 70 women per night.
