The Old Brewery Mission is a diverse community of clients, staff and volunteers who are working together to reduce homelessness and help people get back on their feet.

We help people living in homelessness help themselves

At the Old Brewery Mission, our goal is to give people the power, the hope and the support to bridge the gap between homelessness and a better place to live. We offer important humanitarian services to those in need, such as a safe refuge from the street, nourishing meals and warm showers. We also offer our clients real solutions to homelessness through dynamic transitional programs and residential centres. Our goal is to make the Old Brewery Mission more than a last stop for people living in homelessness but a new beginning for them.

Our Mission

Founded in 1889, the Old Brewery Mission provides homeless Montreal adults with meals, overnight shelter, transitional residence, clothing and services in an atmosphere of caring and respect. We support and assist our clientele as they gain greater stability and autonomy and build more mainstream lives.
