Services for Women
The phenomenon of homelessness is not unique to men. Homeless women come from varying language, ethnic and social groups with most having suffered severe economic setbacks. Women make up approximately 30% of the homeless population and have an average age of 40.
The Old Brewery Mission has developed its Services for Women division designed to respond to the specific needs of the staggering number of homeless women in Montreal.
