Permanent Social Housing Services
The Old Brewery Mission offers permanent solutions for homelessness for those who have followed our transition services and others who have reached a pivotal point in their rehabilitation. Our goal is to help them move forward with increased autonomy. The range of services we have developed has been specifically designed to help our clients leave the harsh realities of the street and reintegrate into society in a concrete manner.
We offer support from our counsellors through our social housing units such as the Pavillon Marcelle & Jean Coutu; in designated apartments located throughout the city or through our Le Pont program. Residents pay a modest rent that is partially subsidized by government programs. No specific departure dates are specified. Our hope is that our residents will soon find themselves in a more confident position and look to leave The Old Brewery Mission and return to family life or life with a partner.
With continued community support, the Old Brewery Mission is currently pursuing several other permanent housing projects.
